Actually you really do not need to run it for 10 minutes because it is in fact a roller cam. There is no break in of a flat tappet cam because it rolls around the cam. There is no metal shavings that are coming off the cam from the roller. If there are you have some serious problems. With my rollers I usually run it for 500 miles then change it.

Damn she looks pretty, I just slapped mine together so I wouldnt have to pay anymore overnight fees for the bay I was renting. Mine did the same cooling wise and they told me to burp it and it seems to work, when I was breaking mine in I had to run the hose through the radiator just to keep it cool.

Once I quit throwing belts I'll get my timing set change the oil again and should be able to start hammering on it.
