well first deal fell through on a block... working on another one but im the 2nd guy in line.

guess i should let the cat out the bag now.. seeing how im having trouble getting parts

doing a windsor with 225 high ports on top of it. they are done up by BES that we ran on the turbo car. 58CC. i may spray it... i may turbo it... im that that far yet. still need to find a block again

Are you looking for a roller block or just any Windsor? Have you been checking corral?

doesnt matter... its going to be a solid roller set up at the end of the day.

i have looked but people want some crazy money for them or they arent local.

I work with someone who has a 84 W. It was rebuilt awhile ago and is cast Pistons,.040 over,flat tappet cam,carb,etc We were talking about it and he would sell complete for 400$ I'm actually contemplating it. If it was standard bore I would have already purchased.

Good deal. I bought some pistons yesterday for mine. Gonna send the block off next month once i build the car fund back up. Won't get highports, but hopefully something decent.

The only reason I'm going to stay 8.2 based. Besides with forced induction who needs a Windsor. Have you decided on what you're going to build yet? An all motor 400+ cu in,solid roller,etc or 357 w/turbo or ?? If staying 357 based you could keep some of the internals. Obviously with the needed upgrades.
