My friend just bought a 87-89 GT (no airbag) with a 460 punched out and he said it had some stuff done. The car is like a deep purple with a 4" cowl and a saleen wing (i think) LX tails lift off hood and a bunch of gauges. Took me for a ride and this thing is awsome I want it. He paid $6500 cdn from a local guy. The body is verry clean and the int is mint. It has a auto with a shift kit and a B&M hammer shifter. I think I jizz'd my pants in his car. I will try to get pics and maby a video and will be telling him to join stangnet.

close to my home town there is a 84 hatch with a 460 and nitrous....

this thing had some fat tires (don't know what they were) and it would break loose doing 60 km's and he taped the gas up to 3K on the tach and it broke loos and got a little sideways. I think I'm in love with his car

my neighbor has a 93 ford probe with a built 460 and 200 shot........and the car is streetable car

after last night I have wayyyy more respect for ^^^^his car. I knew it would feel fast but you most af you guys don't understand the feeling of almost unlimited power on tap lol well torque anyway. He said he would let me drive it probly tonight if I see him. I'm just glad I have a buddy with a Fox lol I think I made him want one when I got mine.

thx roland

its not like a turboed 5.0 or a centrifugal blown 302, its just massive massive torque in the whole power band. And boy is it fun. And now im getting about 10 mpg now that i adjusted the carb better and changed the timing. If i had the chance to do it all over again with a blower on the 5.0 or even a turbo, i'd still go 460, its ALOT CHEAPER and more reliable as well as different.

yea I think a 347 with about 10 psi would be awsome but the sound of the 460 will set you away from everyone else with a Fox.
