Ya instead of pulling it strait back I pulled it towards me and stuffed it in second.. First time it happend scared the crap outa me.. I dont think I fully let the clutch out either because as soon as the car diped and chirped the tires I slamed my foot back down on the clutch.
I have done that once racing at the track in my old 94GT. the tremec was notchy as hell and when I ripped for 4th I pulled hard enough to grab second. tires howled nice and loud and car got squirly for a quick second before I put the clutch back in.... no damage was done though. car ran fine after and the rear was OK too.
