Went racing last night....crazy stuff!

I will have to check the vid out on a different PC. I am going to guess the Roush blew up.

Now those so called blower cams you have are one of the best N/A cams out there. VT even recommends those over their own VT Stg II N/A cams. They are very similar spec'd to the Comp 270's( which is another excellent N/A cam ), but the Crowers have more lift.

You gained 3MPH but did your times improve?

I didn't know that. They have the same exhaust and intake duration, 27*, I can't remember the exact specs. I am pretty impressed with them so far. The Roush doesn't blow up. It's even better. I won't spoil the suprise :D . I ran my best ever time of 13.90 @5200ft and a 2.2 60ft. That was today (Saturday), the vid is from Friday night. It has 13.5 capabilities I just couldn't get traction. Last year I hit a few 1.8 60ft's so the potential is there. I just have to get used to the torque difference off the line and I need new rubber. My Nitto's are getting pretty worn.

I saw the vid. Lucky.

Here is the Comp and Crower specs:

Comp 270's:
234/238 @ .050", 109/117 113 LSA, .550" lift

Crower Stg II PI SC cams:
234/234 @ .050", 110/118 114 LSA, .581" lift

I know them because I had both and went with the Crower's for my N/A build.

the video resolution isn't very clear, the best I can make out is that one of you s**t your pants:p

:rlaugh: I know, photobucket sucks for vids. Roush does a 360 at the 330ft mark and misses the wall by inches. I smelled urine when he came back to the pits and talked to me. Kid doesn't know how to drive. Kept on talking about how his blower spooled real hard just then and that's why he spun. He's got a positive displacement blower  . I think he saw himself getting his @ss kicked and got into it to hard with not much experience behind the wheel. It was an actual Roush too, first one I'd ever seen in the new body style, blower was authentic Roush too, must have been the new Stage 3.

Your insurance is null and void if you crash while racing your car at the track. Your insurance company will gladly tell you to shove your claim where the sun don't shine, or so says my wife who is an insurance scammer, oops, I mean broker.

Now i dont want to take my car to the track lol.
That happened to me once on the highway in the rain, left the merge lane with a little to much foot into the gas pedal, ended up litterally 4 inches from the concrete barricade on the other side of the double laner, facing traffic coming at me at around 80km/h or so, luckily i had about 150ft to turn around... except my carbureted beast flooded itself and wasn't starting, took 3 or 4 cranks and it finally started and i ended up almost doing another 360 to try and get it turned around in time. so yea, i needed a new driver seat, (and 3 passenger seats lol, had a carfull of passengers in shock) but i definately learned my lesson. :p

I'd drive it/drag if off the track and run it into the guard rail on the highway. "I don't know what happened officer, a deer jump out in front of me and I swerved to miss it." :rlaugh:
