Went to start car this morning, running like crap

As the title states, went to start the stang this morning. It started up fine. When I went to take off, it was running rough (almost undrivable). No check engine light. Will my code reader tell me anything without the check engine light on? It feels like a vaccum leak. Anything quick I could check. It was running fine yesterday
