Went to the track last night (I suck)

I'm a believer in the JLT, I have a MAC/BBK cai before. It seemed like a downgrade from stock and the IAT was always pretty high thanks to the heatsoak of that aluminum pipe. The JLT dropped my IAT significantly. I thought the upgrade was well worth it.

I say get rid of the nittos and buy some BFG's or MT. I never had any luck with nittos, but dropped .3 with BFG drag radials over the nittos. Lots of people use nittos and say they nave no problems with them, but I think they are a good street tire but not a track tire. Also I could only pull a 2.1 60' with nittos and the first time back with BFG's I went 1.9 60' . ET went from 9.2-9.3 to 9.0-9.1 in the 1/8th. Good luck at the track.

youcan do just fine on the nittos man. I was at teh track last night and pulled a 1.788 with my nittos. it can be done you just have to work the clutch and heat them up. i was runnin 30 psi in them too. i heat em for a good 6-8 seconds and they hooked hard.

and no those times dont suck those are pretty decent times actually considering the alt.

let me know if you are goin for sure on friday, i might go out there too. i wanna try out firebird cause the track prep at speedworld kinda sucks and that might have somethin to do with my ****ty times

im going for sure, got a couple friends going too, hopfully my friend with race his mustang too while we r out, if u wana meet up just pm me and we can figure it out, track is usually prepped ok, sometime fantastic if they have an event the next day but then again i dont really have anything to compare it to since ive never been to another track
