Hey guys I went to the track for the first time. It was in Wendover, Utah and it sucked. There was no track prep at all and it was my first time going so I really sucked it up. Anyway my first run was a 15.3, second 15.3 third 15.3 then I finally got a little better launch and got a 15.2. The first 2 runs I launched off of idle because my car kept wanting to roll forward when I staged. On the third I got an alright start, but then missed 3rd gear and the guy next to me walked away, he did a 14.5 and I was next to him so I think that I would have ran a 14.8ish. Then on the last run I peeled out all the way through 1st. So I did pretty bad, does anyone know where I can calculate it to see what I did at sea level?

I didn't even get a timeslip. They don't even know how fast you go in the 1/4 just the time that you got. In another month I'm going to a better track where I can get a slip. I only went to this one because it was a big Mustang thing. I'll probably never go back to it, it was a good 2.5 hour drive.

Sorry Cory that you had such a bad experience. I went to Rocky Mountain Raceway (almost worse than Wendover) on Saturday. I ended up with a 14.86..there were about 8 other mustangs out there. It is crap that there arent any nice tracks up our way, hope***lly things get better when the Larry H. Miller track gets going..

PM me if you want to meet up, there are a few guys I am trying to get together..I dont like the groups already established around here..

Yeah I heard that it's pretty gay. I didn't have to wait long at Wendover, just the track wasn't very good. I would spin all through first gear and I'd be starting at 1500rpm. It was a joke.
