I took my car to the track on wed. night at sunshine speedway in ST. Pete, FL. I'm not sure what I was expecting with the tires I have. I'm pretty proud of how it preformed anyway. I still have many bugs to work out though. I ran 3 times and pulled 1.9's on all three runs with a best of 1.900. I love my SSM's. I'm running 245/50/16's. So I don't think that's all that bad being that they are low pro tires. I was so nervous all I could hear was the exhaust. Apparently I was was spinning quite a ways down the track. All three times I had to shut down 3/4 track. As best as I could tell I was spill tranny fluid out of my fill tube onto my headers, which made it HARD to see!!! The best time I could muster was 8.23 with a 84 mph. I got a higher mph on the old motor that was not nearly as strong as this thing. I need to adjust the air bleeds to fatten this thing up alot. I've got alot of tuning to do. I think with traction it will hit 7.5-7.6 on motor. My rearend didn't like the launches, now it's leaking. But for now it's time to tinker and go back. Wish me luck.
