Went to Track Weds... Broke EVERYTHING

You missed 3rd gear with a Pro 50 shifter?

Let the shifter find 3rd gear, don`t try and force it over under the gun in a race situation.
Hard to explain, but,in a tension race situation, when you shift from 2-3,just push the lever up without forcing/guiding and it should go into 3rd easily.

Yeah, don't "think" about the action of moving the shifter to the right....just run it diagonally up from second into 3rd. I missed 3rd one time at the track and felt so stupid that it hasn't happened again lol.

yea i definitly didnt know that i didnt have a rev limiter before wednesday... i always figured that it was set at like 6500 with my tune, but i guess on never got put in there.

and i was looking at the head today, and the three valves that didnt break ALL BENT. :owned:

Valves aren't a huge deal to replace though as long as the guides and everything else is ok. You can even look at this as a good chance to get a really good valve job done and end up better than before. As for the piston though...maybe it's stroker time too :nice:

nows the time to get those twisted wedges on there that youve always wanted.... j/k sorry to hear about the engine failure, im surprised you handle it so well.

getting used to it unfortunatly... took off the drivers side head today and found out that i bent all those exhaust valves and pushrods also. but on the plus side i had no "piston valves" on that side
