We're dropping another pulley size to 2.87, but...

600 HP is right around the corner. With the methanol and the 3.33 pulley, we made two pulls at 513 and 505 HP in 99 degree heat and hi humidity. The MAF was not the issue. Beleive it or not, it was the Diablosport Predator. It wasn't reading my EEC like it was supposed to. My mechanic hooked his computer up to it and made a pull and the loads were dead on. So, that was taken care of. Also, we noticed that the belt was slipping pretty bad on the pulley. The 515 HP only had 8-9 LBs. of boost. So, that's why I decided to change the pulley with the Reichard Racing piece, buy a couple of smaller sized belts to correct that issue

Best way to do it is with the 8-rib set up. Another solution to this is the use of a larger crank pulley. You could go with a Lightning (7.50") crank pulley and the match it to a 3.2" blower pulley as an alternative to the 2.90" blower pulley and 6.85" stock crank pulley. This would give you better belt wrap to eliminate slipping and still maintain the proper ratio.
