theres a station in Stockton off I5 that sells 100 octane for 5.50/gal. I think its a Citgo station but not 100% sure, ive only been there once a few years ago to get 100octane for my 97 GST.

theres a station here in modesto on Mchenry that sells 100octane as well. you always see the ricer kiddies lining up for the single pump that pumps it, they need all the help they can get i guess.

Sac Raceway has 110 and 116 race fuels if i recall.

I've heard that some of the Vette owners out there buy a 108 racing fuel concentrate (not a 108 octane booster). Might want to google that as a possibility.

theres that 76 Station off the 101 in Thousand Oaks that sells 100 octane. but in CA its illegal for a regular gas station to distribute leaded gas from a pump. they have to keep it in the pills or drums, except at a race track.

A high compression engine, an engine with lots of spark advance, and/or a force inducted engine that would actually require the extra octane.
