Im looking at a new build up... Something a little more extreme. And right now i have 3 possible options for cams.. Im looking at either Ed of coarse, Jay Allen (heard he is good) and then AFM.

Ed seems to be the obvious choice but i would like to get some feedback. Lets just say my next setup im working on is not going to be like anybody elses on here, from the parts i use to how far i go with them. but i will say im looking for a 9 sec street car. (in power anyways, it would never make it through tech im sure.. lol)

I don't even know if Jay would do one for me but i have heard other people talking about him.

I forgot about that, But then again i might let it go with the long block... Not sure yet.. I have no gripes with ed's work but I have heard a lot of good things about Jay and i know what AFM can do too.

I will say this: I have been thinking about this new prodject becase my girlfriend has talked about getting me a dart block for christmas..

Yeah i have talked to Ed about AFM's cams before. But then again I have gotten to know some of the guys from AFM a little bit from dyno sessions, and know that they are Very proffessional people.

But i will be emailing both Ed and Jay to see what they think and to see how much they think they have the most appropriate cam, lol.

AFM was brought up because they have already proven they can make a cam for sorta what im looking for.

500 is nice dont get me wrong. But also how long is it going to last? I mean that block probably shouldn't be pushed that hard, and the big reason i think its holding up is due to staying under 6000 rpms.

Well i didn't really want to say what i have in mind because i wanted to make sure it was plausable first. But im looking at a higher revving 327 w/boost, and when i want to go even more extreme i can add nitrous and everything should hold up just fine.
