I ran 15.2 at 91 with my bone stock 94 auto. If your running 16's there is something wrong with your car.

14* timing is what most run. 16* timing is a lot but some cars can handle even more. What octane are you running? Have you done a tune up lately? (plugs, plug wires, fuel filter, cap and rotor) You should definitely be able to run mid 15's at least. I ran 15.6 before power braking got me down to 15.2.

WTF, are you for real dawg???
when i took my 95 auto VERT, i ran 15.4 @ 92 bone stock. his should be capable of more since it's not convertible. i had a buddy who ran a 14.8 but he has a 98 GT auto. anywhere between the 2 is my guess.

you don't have any pinging with the timing that high. i'm more than sure that what you need to do is practice racing your car. that will certainly drop you down to mid to low 15s

Yeah, i say low 15's and low 90's mph. My dads truck runs 16's and its stock. Sounds like you need a full tune up. and clean your mass air meter.

94-95s are really slow, if you got 2.73s dont expect any faster than 16.0, if u got 3.08 u might run little faster then that, specially thought a slushbox of a tranny that u got.

well considering how fast cop magnets car is I dont think he remembers what a stock 94 5.0 is like. Your car should be capable or running low to mid 15's stock. Mine car did and so have others on here. (got the time slips from 2002 to prove it) If your car is running 16's you either have problems or need to practice.

OK, this begs the newbie question of what is the best driving technique to improve your times? What should he/I practice?
