i switched from EFI to carb and am needing to buy an alternator. The main things ill have on the car are:

all running lights
radio, amp, 10" sub,
gauges
elec fan (eventually)
MSD 6AL
Elec Fuel pump

... im wondering if i should just do a 1 wire jobbie, or how i could make a 3G work with a carb'd setup

Why would a carb effect the alternator?

Becasue i dont have all the same wiring that an EFI car uses. I want to have a clean engine bay and i think a 1 wire would be better for me, considering i dont have the wiring harness, relays, sensors, and all that mess to power. but this is the first time for me doing the carb swap, so im just wondering what everyone else with a carb uses.

I went from CFI to carb so I just used what was there. I think the 1 wire would be easier.

im also wondering about how many amps ill need for the above listed stuff ill be running... 140 amp... 190 amp... ??? thanks for all the help so far by the way..
