What are all the parts needed for a rear gear swap

a rear ring and pinion swap is one of the most difficult jobs to get right.aside from parts there are specil tools needed to do the job so if you have never done one before take it to a shop that is equipped to do so. it is more involved than shoving everything in and marking the teeth with grease to see a mesh pattern. it seems simple but not for the inexperienced.
 
I would suggest using the Predator handheld engine computer. You can recalibrate the speedo and a whole lot more. Others may recommend SCT. Research both and make your choice...

You might also consider an aluminum drive shaft. The shaft will be spinning a lot faster to make the same speeds after the gear swap...

Agree with Trout on getting a Predator or SCT. If you are considering a Predator ask Dave (injectedracing in post above in this thread) about them.
