You guys think you can give me an idea of what a nice set of Pony wheels are worth with Nitto tires with about 80% tread left on them?

I dunno man. I have a set of brand new authentic FMS chrome pony's with brand new tires on them and can't even get $1k in this economy. All worth over $1700 new.

Around here, a good clean uncurbed set of silver ponys with good tires will go for around $400 as long as they have all the caps and aren't faded to death. Curbing and crap tires obviously change that. I personally wouldn't spend a penny more than $400 for them because they're so easy to repaint and make look new again. Chrome on the other hand, like Doc said you can't get what they're worth either because nobody has it to spend, or because they're spending that cash on rims that are more "aftermarket". There was a girl on our local forum selling a literally brand new set for i think $900, and they were as new as you could ask for and with brand new tires...i don't think they EVER sold. I just think most people would rather spend that kind of cash on even Cobra R's.

Around here, I've seen them go for about $150 for just the rims if they're in good shape (with center caps), and as high as $300 for the same with decent tires; lowest I've seen lately is $125 for scuffed-up rims with worn-down tires.

I miss the set I had. I should've never given them away with the Pervertible. Oh well ... I has teh awesome turbines and custom 10-holes.

Exactly. My ride has 17" Cobra R's.....with bald tires.

Yet I have a set of brand spanking new 16" chrome Pony's....not the knockoffs.....but the real Ford Racing deal with brand spanking new summer only high speed tires.....yet I can't sell them for $1000. I seriously got the receipts showing they're worth over $1700. I just like my 17" R's cuz they show my brakes and stuff. But I won't give em away. I'll mount them for shows and stuff if I have to.

I can't count how many people have said to keep them and mount them.

But anyways.....if you got reg pony's.......worth a few hundy.

Here's a pic of what I got. Seriously I'd rather keep my R's. And nobody wants the pony's.

I bought three of them for $25 rim without center caps and tires. I thought that was a little much for them.

They were the big ticket back in the day, but with everyone going 5-lug and running 17's...the market has dried up
