I think my rear axle may have shifted about an inch rearwards on the passenger side due to control arm bushing wear... an alignment shop tried to tell me I had a bent axle housing, but it seems to me that bad bushings would be much more likely...? I'm going to get a second opinion, but I'm pretty sure I'll just need new bushings, which makes this an ideal time to replace the rear control arms.
I was thinking I'd go with Ford Racing uppers since a lot of people seem to reccomend them over ones that use poly bushings. Are these a good choice?
Who makes a good quality non-adjustable LCA that isn't too expensive? Are something like Mac or Blue Oval Industries (eBay) arms any good, or should I look at something like Steeda's steel LCAs, or some UPR's?
I'm trying to stay in the $225 or less range for uppers and lowers.
The other question I had is, should I get some poly bushings for the axle-side upper mounts? I don't understand why no one seems to include these with their UCA's...
