What are some good rear control arms?

Isnt it a beautiful thing. Great thing about owning a mustang, huge aftermarket to back it up.

It is great that there are so much aftermarket stuff available for mustangs, But also confusing when you have to choose.

Personally i do not have anything MM on my car even though they are local to me, i know many many people use them because they are good but almost all the company out there are good regardless of where they are made.

When buying a control arms buy a adjustable ones if you want the maximum potential out of your suspension, Install the arms and take it to a mechanic who knows how to set up the suspension, that's the best way.

But for the street there are no needs for adjustable suspension set up, I use HPM set up mixed with Kenny Brown set up. I had other control arms(Steeda, BBK) in the past but HPM stuff just works well for me all around and it freaking lasts forever, I don't know if they are still in the business or not but when i got them i stocked up on their bushings if they even go out, but it has only been in the car for 5 years only, lol

I am a fan of "Boxed" control arms instead of tubular ones by the way.

hollywoodstang - I agree, all the available aftermarket choices make this confusing. Learning about quite a few different control arm vendors in this thread from different posters.


Got another question for the gang:

Is it acceptable (or not really worthwhile) to only replace the factory lower control arms with aftermarket LCAs for street-duty ? I'm kicking around the idea of getting UCAs and LCAs, but not sure I really *need* the uppers for my driving purposes..

What do you guys say ?
