What are some good rear control arms?

hollywoodstang - I agree, all the available aftermarket choices make this confusing. Learning about quite a few different control arm vendors in this thread from different posters.

Got another question for the gang:

Is it acceptable (or not really worthwhile) to only replace the factory lower control arms with aftermarket LCAs for street-duty ? I'm kicking around the idea of getting UCAs and LCAs, but not sure I really *need* the uppers for my driving purposes..

What do you guys say ?

BTW - Apologies to gnx547 for hijacking your thread... :D

I really don't read the magazine articles and make my decisions and buy online, I stopped reading the magazine advertising section for quiet a while now, lol,

I talk and take a ride with people in my local mustang clubs and feel the car and ask them if they see or feel the improvement.

For the street just the nice set of lower control arms(try our sponsor J&M, for a fact I know this company makes some good stuff just as good as the holy MM) will be okay but if you can get both upper and lower for fair price, By all means do it!

For my car, I even have bearing on my upper arms as well, People are against doing this but I actually saw an improvement on my time.

It's all got to do with your driving style, and how aggressive you drive it. are you focus on drag racing or road course? even if it's daily driver you can still set it up nicely so when you hit the track, you do okay.

Good luck:nice:
