I always like to run Nitto 555's on my 04 GT. I've got aftermarket wheels though so I'm running 315/35 in back and 275/40 in front.

Nitto's aren't the cheapest, but in my experience they last a lot longer than tires that aren't that much cheaper, and handle and hook better. But they are nowhere close to being the most expensive either. They are a great all around tire.

The nittos are excellent, you cant go wrong with them, also the Yokohama
S-drives are killer sweet and actually look better than the Nittos.

I have had the 555's for about a month now and love them. 275's all around and make the car handle and hook great. It's a DD and they work well in the rain as well. Makes it feel like the car it should since the previous person had 225's on it Get the nitto's you won't be disappointed.

sounds like the census says the nitto's. ill check em out. ill take a look at those yokohama's. i wanna get an aftermarket rim but i like the stock mach 1 rims. if i do get aftermarket ones its gotta be something different from factory rims and any cobra rims.

When I had my 5.0 I ran Toyo proxies and they were pretty good except for in the rain.
