What are the best looking valve covers?

i have those too, but i painted mine with the black wrinkle paint and then cleared them. i've thought of redoing them with the wrinkle paint and then painting them ford blue and then the clear, still debating that one. oh yeah the fins are brushed like the cobra's too.

i like finned ones
id get the ones that say powered by 289...
but i cant bring myself to spend $120 on them
the edelbrock ones are nice too, but they're even more expensive
im going to look into those 85 gt's too

I like the classic finned open-letter COBRA covers. As for an air cleaner to match, this is what I used:

If you go to My Garage, you can see a larger picture.
I bought it from PAW. They have a few styles.

where did u get those??? ive been looking for the 289 powered by ford ones, i know they make them ive seen them with the matching oval air cleaner, but i cant find them anywhere now!!!

Try National Parts Depot for the 289 finned, I bought my 351's at a swap meet.They are made by Scott Drake and are setup for Roller rockers.

OK thanks. i ordered them from NPD today, should be here tomorrow or the next day. i also ordered separately the cobra style air cleaner, except with the ford logo on it. im not all about the cobra stuff since nothing about my car is snake related
