What brand clutch to get?

This is for a friend, he has an 87 gt. Its has longtubes, cold air intake,4:11s. basic stuff. The clutch just basically exploded one day at the track. He plans on modding the car more but nothing more than 400hp max. Also going to get an aluminum flywheel. What do you guys think would be the best clutch to throw in? Thanks guys

Based on the little info provided, a CF DF would not be a bad choice.

i have the Centerforce Dual friction for the cobra on my 88gt and it will pull the front wheels off the ground with right at 500 hp and ive had it for about 6 years and no slippage yet

i just ran into clutch problems myself and picked up a Ram Clutch that is rated for 450 sq ft lbs of torque. it grabs nice and i got it for a good price on americanmuscle.com. good site imo

i got the spec-1
