I have a 1965 Ford Mustang 2+2 and it will be driving pn the freeway around town and having alot of fun racing around town and stuff.......

So my question is What Brand and type of shocks do you guys use or recommend me to use......im not going to buy whatever is the cheapest.....im buying because of the quilty and performance of the shock.....

How is the rest of the suspension setup?
It takes more than just good shocks to make a classic Mustang handle well.

Don't leave out Bilsteins. Just put on a set with the new Maier leaf's. It is firm, but not harsh. They handle well, and with the new leafs and poly bushings, the car is on a rail!

They come in different dampning's, I went with the street version and am very happy with them.

I like the Bilsteins but do they make shocks for the front?

Second place would be Koni, next Edelbrocks, Qa1's, with the rest of the more common aftermarket shocks being distantly last.

Yes, they make front and rear...you can check them out at Maier Racing or Mustang Depot.

I have KYB(Kayaba) Gas-A-Justs so far on the stock springs and they're pretty good. They're not adjustable, but they don't cost a fortune either and work well. Soon I'll have 620lb front springs and new rear leafs so it should be even better.

The Edelbrocks require some modification for the front shock tower caps to get them to fit. If you don't mind grinding a little they fit ok. I have not driven my car yet, so I can't tell you how it rides or handles, but I liked the Edelbrock shocks I put on the rear.
