I dont know much about V8 aftermarket parts. In high school i was into import tunning with names like HKS GReddy and AEM. I'm going to begin mods on a 95 GT soon and dont really know what brands to look for. I want to buy pretty top quality stuff. Here is what i'm thinking about...

Trick Flow
Edelbrock
Bassani
MAC (maybe?)

i heard BBK sucked. what are you guys' opinions on brands?

bbk doesn't suck it is just difficult to make the parts fit properly..I have a bbk off road h pipe and it took some messing with to get it to not scrape the ground...but other than that those are the best brands pretty much..as far as cylinder heads trickflow twisted wedge or afr 165's are pretty much the top quality stuff...gt40 aluminums are nice too..intakes trickflow or edelbrock are common.. camshafts you could go with trickflow stage one, or fti custom (there are many other good ones such as the e303)..exhaust mac and bassani are the best in my opinion but bbk is alright as long as you take the time to fit properly..but first and foremost every stang needs new rear end gears...go with frpp 3.73s

That would be my definition of suck When I spend money on a part I want the sucker to work the first time.

When it comes to exhaust products I would buy the most expensive, like JBA, Bassani, Borla, etc.

well my point was bbk products will produce the same kind of power as the other stuff they just take a little fabrication to make fit...so yeah their fitment sucks..but the power doesn't nor does the sound..my bbk pipe sounds great...every bit as good as the bassani stuff I was looking at getting..

Engine Might have to get a Dart block but don't want to and if I do, then 363 instead of 331. Thoughts on what I've already bought so far.......
