What is a direct replacement 9004 bulb that is proven to be better/brighter than a Sylvania Silverstar? Do any exist, and how much?

European-spec Silverstars are better than US-spec Silverstars. The US silverstars are just coated bulbs. The european versions, made by OSRAM, are brighter.

Unfortunately they are illegal here so you'll have to find an overseas supplier.

Just the type of bulb your car takes. Silverstars are pretty good. If your looking for something more powerful, maybe consider doing an HID conversion.

Lol, those aren't links to actual bulbs for your car. They just show some of the E-spec bulbs which are 50% brighter than OEM.

If you can score some of the Euro-spec bulbs on Ebay in a 9004 size it would give you a nice look
