Ok I'm doing a lot of work to my car this year, I've owned it for 3 years and kept it basically stock, now it gets some love

I autocross the car mostly, but it does see some drag strip time

mods coming this year:

kyb gr2 shocks/struts
eibach prokit springs
3.73's /w trac loc rebuild, new bearings in rear end, etc
max motorsports lower control arms
granatelli upper control arms
max motorsports front strut bar
lincoln mark vii 73mm calipers
hawk hps brake pads
max motorsports braided steel brake lines

I was going to order the front and rear spring isolator bushings, but what other, if any, should I order to help my handling? Would be ordering from summit racing

Thanks!

I suggest bilstein, koni or tokico shocks over the kyb and sticking with maximim motorsports for the upper control arms. Oh and definately subframe connectors is a must. http://www.maximummotorsports.com/isolators.asp
The isolators will adjust your ride height due to worn out stock ones. They can't hurt. for about 50 bucks you might as well replace them. Again, stick with Maximum Motorsports. They know their stuff over there.

Kevin's thinking is along the lines of mine.

Also I dont know what kind of course you Auto X on, but if you are sloughing off a lot of speed, I would be prepared for further brake upgrades (keep it in the back of your mind as a possibility).

You could go pretty crazy with locating the rear end and doing some other stabilizing stuff, but I have the feeling that there is a somewhat strict budget.

Good luck.

Is it possible to get a Panhard bar while you are planning your upgrades? Since you drive your car hard and it's stock (like mine) you know how fun the rear end of the car can be around corners.

The bar will better locate the rear end so the rear end doesn't end up steering the car as much.

+1 on the Panhard rod.

I love the one I have from MM. Even when the tires start to cut loose, it is fairly easy to get it back under control. They are pricey though.

IF the budget allows I am a big fan of the Auburn limited slip dif I am using. Street version, I have heard the Race/Track version is not too much fun on the street.

These 2 things have completely changed the rear end handling of the car.

Unfortunately, I have a limited budget for mods this year. I only settled with the gr2's due to the extremely low price, and my shocks/struts are competely blown

Bilsteins and a panhard bar are in the near future, along with a disc brake conversion

thanks for the input
