i want to see what other people have done in one day to give me ideas in one day.
so day i stripped my car all seats all fabricks sanded things down put new floor pans in. just getting ready to take my roll cage out and rewire my car.

soo lets see what everyone else can do in one day

I did a complete six to eight front end swap including coils in about half a day.

Your question is confusing me. Are you asking how much can you do with beer, or without beer. One day i sandblasted my entire engine compartment and primed it without beer. But one day i polished my car with beer.

Well, I usually don't HAVE a whole day to work on my car
I did an AOD to T5 swap in my Fox in a day (13 hours) recently though. Had to do it in a day so I could drive it
Oh and I highly recommend the move, last year with the AOD if someone made an offer on it I would have taken it. This year I've had 2 unsolicited offers already
NO SALE!!

well me and a buddy once pulled the engine out of my stang and reinstalled in my old 70 cougar and then put the cougar's old engine back in the stang and the stang fired up in about 8 hours. of course we had to wait until the next day to hook up the exhaust and actually get it on the road but that only took a couple hours.

another time when i was in high school another buddy has wrecked his 70 chevelle and we stripped the old front sheetmetal off, went to the wrecking yard and got another one (hood, fenders, grille, bumper, an entire front clip) sanded, primed and reinstalled the new parts in one day and went out cruising that night, i thought that was pretty good.

I can pull MY engine and trans,replace the clutch,clean eveything and put it all back in and cruising by nightime.

With a 12 pack a beer and a freshly packed bowl a buddy and myself swapped out the motor AND the rear end in his 67

I changed my tranny fluid in an hour and installed one of the valve body springs in upside down. That screwed up my transmission in one day and cost me 450 bucks to get fixed.

So me, I can do a lot of damage to my mustang in one day.

EDIT: Oh yeah, back in 1985; I took the bed, the roof, and all the glass off a '76 Datsun pickup - in 5 seconds. That's not all, I also lowered an '80 Chevy Malibu (but only in the rear suspension/body) and folded up a 9 ft diameter Satellite TV dish so if looked like a big aluminum taco in the same 5 seconds!
Still wish I had convinced my boss to let me spend an hour or two on replacing the brake master cylinder that morning.....

But I now know what it feels like to ride in an upside-down motor vehicle
