WEll i would say that the tiltle of this post kinda explains my question. i have weld in flowmasters right now and thats it. It didnt give HP of corse . and I was looking at the loud mouth cat back system. Also should i add h pipe or an x pipe? Im looking for great sound, but more hp also....

I agree with streetstang03. I just replaced my Flowmaster catback with a Borla catback and I love 'em! :hail2: They sound deeper at idle and at wide open throttle. With headers and an x-pipe you just can't beat them. :nice: I do admit the system is pricey but with the million mile warranty and all stainless steel construction I figured I couldn't go wrong. Other comparable systems at around the same price are Bassani, Magnaflow, SLP and all ar stainless steel but do not come with lifetime waranties. As for sound quality, that is a matter of your own opinion. The other systems were louder than I would really like and the flowmasters highway drone was just starting to get on my nerves. I attribute that to age though as it never really bothered me before. Whatever system you choose, you really can't go wrong, it's just what you can afford and what you want. Good luck on your choice 'cause there's alot to choose from. :flag:

oooopppps sorry i read the whole thing. Keep the flowmaster and just get a H pipe. If you have a 3 chamber flow get a new 2 chamber one, well if you want it to be louder. Get a H-pipe if your looking for a nice sound. If you get a X-pipe it won't sound as good as the h-pipe but it will give you 10-12 hp over the h-pipe.
