talk over the warranty with your dealer , as far as the different ones , kenne bell , vortech , paxton and procharger are all great , kenne bell is alot of $$ but gives more boost down low , problem then becauses traction . Others give great power and power comes on strong in the upper rpms . Everybody has their opinions one which is best , I like them all , I made my decision because of $$ and it gives a decent base to build from later . 400-420 rwhp is about the limit of a stock bottom end without becoming a day to day is it gonna blow today state of mind . Keep that in mind . Look at your wallet and then post on here whats my best choice for this much $$ and you might get some better ideas on where to turn .

You have to figure what's good for your budget and what do you want to do with the car. Do you want it to be a nice street car with tons of power or are you looking to take it to the track regularly. All these things make a difference.

KB is a great blower if I had the money I'd buy that simply because I love low end torque. You would have to beef up your suspension and drivetrain so that you could get and keep traction even at low rpm's. It becomes a very costly kit specially on the tires.

A centi style blower (vortech, paxton, procharger) only give out boost in the higher rpm's which is great for racing since your only in the higher rpms these are track proven blowers that make great power. They are cheaper since they have been out along time and alot of people know how to tune them which is the most important part of the blower. There are plenty of people that run 350-450 rwhp on the stock block but they have a really good and safe tune.

If you really want to do this my best suggestion is research till you know backwards and forwards what each blower does and then look into who has the best price and kit for what you want. My suggestion is Cobra Killer from T&J performance customer service is 2nd to none and they have never lost a motor to his moongoose kit. http://www.modularfordpowerhouse.com

Cobra Killer is also a dealer for KB's as well so he's the best bet to get top notch service and quality.

kb is the way to go but costs money. I have never seen any other kit just put the car in the low 12's right out of the box. the mongose (vortech w/ steeda tune) is great as well.

that being said you would probaly have to give the service manager a bj to get around you waranty being voided. you will be hard pressed to find someone that will waranty a "gt" with 400rwhp.

to me it is cut an dry

kb twin screw or mongose kit. go to T&J for either.

The only way it won't void the warranty is if you get a Ford-installed supercharger.
