Well I tried to pull my stang out of storage yesterday, I backed it out and pushed the clutch in, to shift it into first and bang! My clutch cable snapped.
Most of the members and Myself would say an oem cable is the best in a stang, all the aftermarket cables don't seem to hold up. maximum motorsports sells oem cables. they also have one of the best quads in my opinion. they sell a nice kit with a quad, fwa and oem cable, but to answer your ? I would go oem cable .
I looked at the maximum motor sports one, and thought about it but I wasn't sure, but now I am. My car already has a aluminum quadrant so I'm going to get their fwa and cable.
i used to fight clutch cables alot. last one i bought was the maximum motorsports universal cable. best cable i've seen, smooth operation and works flawlessly
I also have to say Maximum Motorsports has awesome customer service.
I places my order Sunday night online, and their websites says it will ship out the that day if its placed by noon, so its was suppose to be shipped yesterday, but when I called today it hadn't been shipped yet, so they said they would send it express so it would get to me in the same time that it would have took if they were to ship it yesterday.
my OEM snapped after 6 months... and i needed one bad so i had advanced auto order there best one ZOOM! Comes with a quad and the cable is nice and smooth! for 90 bucks! works well...
