Hey guys,

My clutch has started to slip and I am looking at what clutch to get. There seems to be lots of different ones available. My car is a 94gt that is pretty much stock. What would be the best clutch to get? Also, where is the best place to get it? I was just looking at ebay and clutches range from $75-500. Are those no name brands any good or are they junk? Also, I live in BC, Canada, so if any canadians know where the good deals are let me know!

Thanks!

Well, with a stock (or near stock) engine and assuming you don't beat the crap out of it, I would assume that a stock replacement clutch should do you just fine. If you want something more aggressive I'd recommend a king cobra, or a Spec stage 1

+1

Add to that: With a T-5 I wouldn't waste the money on a 10 spline clutch more aggressive than a Spec 1 or a KC. No sense spending 300 bucks for a clutch that'll hold more horsepower than it'll take to break your transmission IMHO....

I also 2nd the Centerforce clutch, but I would only consider that if you plan on making some horsepower in the next few years.

Exactly. I've heard that SPEC clutches can be a little grabby, so I would lean more myself towards the KC if you plan on keeping her stock or slightly modified for a while.
