Hey guys,

My clutch has started to slip and I am looking at what clutch to get. There seems to be lots of different ones available. My car is a 94gt that is pretty much stock. What would be the best clutch to get? Also, where is the best place to get it? I was just looking at ebay and clutches range from $75-500. Are those no name brands any good or are they junk? Also, I live in BC, Canada, so if any canadians know where the good deals are let me know!

Thanks!

I have FRPP King Cobra clutch kit and got it from www.buyfordmotorsport.com. I have zero problems with it. Definately has a more on/off feel than the stock clutch.

Well, with a stock (or near stock) engine and assuming you don't beat the crap out of it, I would assume that a stock replacement clutch should do you just fine. If you want something more aggressive I'd recommend a king cobra, or a Spec stage 1

Add to that: With a T-5 I wouldn't waste the money on a 10 spline clutch more aggressive than a Spec 1 or a KC. No sense spending 300 bucks for a clutch that'll hold more horsepower than it'll take to break your transmission IMHO....

I hear alot of good things about the Centerforce DF clutch.
I will be getting a Centerforce when my stock OEM clutch
bits the dust.

I also 2nd the Centerforce clutch, but I would only consider that if you plan on making some horsepower in the next few years.

Exactly. I've heard that SPEC clutches can be a little grabby, so I would lean more myself towards the KC if you plan on keeping her stock or slightly modified for a while.

I have a Kevlar lined FMS clutch and P/P. I love it. But with the new combo I will have a Centerforce. Some of the best out there.
