Building 331 mild street car--will be going from stick to AOD. I would get a LENTECH without a doubt, but I cannot afford this. Please no "you get what you pay for" or "why would you want an AOD?" Just the information I asked... thanks
Performance automatic has a setup now that uses the 5r55 from newer auto mustangs (which are pretty damn good) and transplants it onto a 5.0.
They cut the bell off and use their own. Performance Automatic - 5R55 S/W Transmission
No matter how you slice it, a good auto is expensive.
The cheaper ones do not last.
