What Company to ship a rear axle?

I need to ship a 300 pound rear end and it’s on a pallet. What company should I go with? I want a hassle free decently priced company. I tired Fedex freight and they want 1400.00 to go to California. Yeah right.

try dhl. i've never shipped any single item that heavy but i have sent several tire/rim combos etc that had a pretty close collective weigth to 300 pounds. they might be able to ship it. if not them you may have to resort to a trucking company.

Had a tranny shipped by them. Great service, fast, and nice people. It needs to be shipped and dropped at a business though, somewhere with a loading dock or fork lift.
