I have a rearend out of a granada. It was a 79 I6. It had leaf springs and is the correct width for an earlier car. The back cover is 11" x 12" with 10 bolts. It doesn't look like a 7.5" or the crown vic 8.8" rear I have. I measured the ring gear (eyeballed while installed and its definitely bigger than 7.5". Did Ford make any other rear ends they might have used? The car also had what looked like a C4 with "transmission company of Japan" on it. Anyone know where I can find out if it is actually an 8.8"?
