Just wondering what kind of stuff you guys check when you change your own oil? do mustangs have any grease points? i check all fluids (except tranny & diff- but i will this time), & clean K&N, but just wondering what else i should be inspecting regularly???

I check to see if Daggar hasn't deleted anything off my car.

When my car used to run lol, id check the clutch cable shielding for anything that looked like it was cracking or burning, check all the other fluids, check the rear main seal for leaks, tranny for leaks, tranny fluid level, differential for leaks, and it sounds retarded, but i would take an air hose, and blow out all of my heater / ac vents because the dust that collects on them aggrivates me to no end.

hmm. yet another FABULOUS derailment.:hail2:

the main thing i'm wondering is are there any grease nipples on a fox? i'm just wondering if i'm missing something by changing my own oil instead of taking it to a shop?

I check all fluids. Diff, Tranny. coolant, P/S, Brake. Check tire pressure, Lube all door hinges and locks. hood latch gets some lube. check my U-joints. Greese any fittings. check for worn front end parts. check belts and hoses, Light bulbs......but I also have a hoist
