Ya freakin' make one! :D Now, I know what you are thinking, is that stand a "store bought" model? Heck no I tell ya, I made it just to remove the rearend so I could get up in all the nooks and cranies and clean clean clean. And the best part is no Mustangs or people we're hurt in the making of this fine stand. :hail2:

Hope the 3 pics come through.

Thanks! :) All made out of scrap steel I had laying around. Some measuring, drilling, and cutting and there ya have it. I didn't want to spend $200 bucks and more for a lift I had to wait 2 weeks for. This had to happen this weekend so I just went after it.

The bottom portion of the stand was my old driver's side swing out bar. Used the latching portion as my pin off for the upper tube. When I step back and look at it, it's funny as hell but I saved a lot of money, it worked, and I made it in my shop with my tools. What a red neck! And they said it could never be done. HAAAAAA!

That's awesome! The last tranny I lifted was an AOD, by myself, in the middle of the driveway, with a tiny floor jack. Looking back, I am still appauled that I raised the tranny high enough to get it mounted.
I hope some day I am lucky enough to have a lift in my home shop! You're a lucky man. :nice:
