I live in Wisconsin, but my garage is insulated so it's always 10 degrees warmer in there than it is outside. Should I just start it every week and let it warm up, or do you prefer to let it sit? If you let it sit, do you fog the motor etc?? What about the tires? I can move it back and forth about two feet each way?

Thanks

I start my toys up and drive them a couple times a week. Oh wait, we dont salt the roads .

If you want to be anal, fog the engine, fill the tank and put in some stabilizer, and stick the car up on jackstands.

I’m in Minnesota and last year was the 1st real winter for my original California Car.

I did the following.

- Fill up the tank with Non-Oxygenated Fuel and add a can of Sea Foam.
- Check your antifreeze for a proper mixture.
- I added some No-Rosion to the antifreeze- http://www.no-rosion.com/
- Fog the motor. I used Stabil in a can.
- Un Hook the Battery and let it sit.

Yes. Go to the track, and make sure everything is working up to speed

I just put in fuel stabilizer, let it sit in the garage, on those sunny days when the roads are dry i take it for a little spin, or i open the door and let it run.
My garage stays like you said 10 to 15 degrees warmer than outside.

You spray “Fogger” into the carb as the motor is running. The engine will begin to stall, let off a bit, spray some more after a bit of that spray until engine dies and keep on spraying. It puts a coat of fogging oil on the top engine while you store it for help with oxidation and adds some lube when you decide to fire it up again.

You can go an extra step and spray some of the stuff down each cylinder by removing each spark plug and shooting some fogging oil down there.

it really shouldn't be necessary to do that last step, the fogger will already be thoughtout the cylinders when it stalls, you should either clean the plugs before startup, or replacing them would be better yet

that is the typical way that you put up a boat engine for the winter.......works great
