Cloned people, I'm okay with. Cloned cars, not so much.. Using the body parts is fine, but it just seems "off" to use the badges too. But, that's just me. In the end, it's really none of my business.

I wonder if the base-model folks get into debates like this when a sleeper cobra trims itself out like a V6.

Haha .... yeah, I can see it now.

"I can't stand it when Cobra's try to imitate my V6 car!" .... "A Cobra isn't worthy of the running pony!".

i would. i would even get a single exhaust(with a cutout of course), just so people wouldn't look twice.

why would you even spend the extra money on the cobra then that would be dumb as hell to spend all that money and take off the best ground effects and badges of all time for that year. if you unbadge then do it to a v6 or gt that you souped up

i did not pay extra for mine, i probably paid less than a comparable GT.

badges are just that--badges. they mean absolutely nothing, imo.

i want to unbadge my car because there is absolutely no doubt that my car is a real Cobra. then the people that know stangs will know, and the folks who don't will stop asking me why i put cobra badges on my non-cobra.
