what do you guys think of my taillights?

I love those taillights and want to put them on mine but I was told it was a major pain in the ass to put those on.

Did you have to make new holes and rewire the lights?

oh god yes, took a while to wire everything up, about 2 days total

thanks, i really apreciate opinions. i do plan on keeping them, but the cobras are being stored in a very safe place. i scored those cobras for free too

I too prefer the cobras but I'm biased (I have them). Definitely different though and it doesn't look bad!

Nope....don't like the tail lights, or the bumper. Stick a set of stock LX tails in there, get yourself another bumper and call it a day.

You've gotta PM me some details or post them here on how you did the swap. Did you have to cut up the body any or did you just modify the lights themselves? I've got those same lights that i got with the nose on my car and i'm thinking about swapping them myself.

on a side note, they go for a pretty penny on ebay if they're in good shape.

I love the earlier four eye tails on your car. The pinstriped Cobra's are the ugliest taillights, even surpassing cheesegraters. Nice job, congrats on being different. Stick with them, they look great.

....... I had a set briefly and just couldn't see past the "busy" pinstripes. Take them off and you have plain 84-86's which look great, just as good as 87-93 LX's. The pinstripes just ruin them IMO.

I personally, kinda like the fact that it's different. I briefly thought about doing that to my coupe, a few years ago. Quickly decided against it after a photochop. But, it's definitely unique. And, if you like it, stick with it.

i like it alot....i like the cobras too, but you can always switch back if you get tired of em lol. Thats what I do with my cobras, lx's and Gt's . I actually want a set of those capri ones i can never find

I think the tails are cool. Car looks clean...except for the (you know whats in the rear bumpers)... I didnt say it...lol
