So i've got about $6000 to spend on building my block. Anyone have good results with the Eagle Competition Assembly (347 stroker), AFR 205 heads with a port matched Victor 5.0 efi manifold? I don't know what pistons I'm going to go with yet... Any advice would be greatly appreciated and what do you guys think I would get hp/lb-ft out of that? Since the AFR 225s are only $100 more, should I go with those or are they too large? There will be a turbo added soon after I get this all built.

If you don't have a block yet, have you thought about a 351W?

I'm with JBeezy53, If you don't already have a race block than get a 351w. The stock 5.0 block would not be worth throwing all that money at...

the block is a aftermarket that a friends dad had for a 68 fastback he was working on (dropping a fox 5.0 in and building it up). i thought about the 351 and stroking it to 392 but i don't really that. i want to keep it based off the 302.
