traction, get at least a ecam, a bcam dosent do very well for boost, an Fcam works better than both of them, if you want to do the fms cam thing.

If it does not get sold, this is what I am going to do to it. Instead of getting a trickflow intake/70mm tb, im getting a real 93 cobra intake with real 65mm tb, all new sensors, egr space, and egr for 200, so I don't think I can pass that up

Dont settle for an alphabet cam man, you wont get the full potential out of it. spend a few extra bucks, and get a custom grind to match your setup.

At least thats what i would do if i was in your shoes to maximize your combo.

Well my plan was to build this motor up with all that right now, while i save for a dss block, forged internals, and a good set of heads, then get a custom cam, and swap over the blower/intake.

Thats not a bad idea...i see where you are coming from. I wouldnt spend the money for a custom cam at this time either. If you are rocking the stock heads, to be honest with you i would stick with the stock cam! Stock cam with a cobra intake, TB, MAF, and rockers will work out quite nicely with a blower.

Well at the moment my car does have an E cam in it, I just wanted something a little more aggressive sounding

wouldnt you rather have a less agressive sounding car that ran faster or a meaner sounding idle but be smoked by every car on the road. this is an exaggeration but the sound at idle shouldnt be what your looking for.

Well i am looking for performance, but the f cam does sound pretty nice, and i dont see why it would hurt putting an f cam in there

A dss block is the same as a stock block. It already has forged pistons, and the stock rotating assembly is stronger than the block. Save your money on that stuff unless you're going for a good aftermarket block like Dart or Boss.

The f-cam is definitally not junk as far as boosted cars go, go on turbomustangs and look at what 70% of people run as far as a cam goes, its a great boost cam

i wouldnt call the alphabet cams junk, yes they are old designs and dont make the best power but they are proven performers. if they were junk like people say they are, we wouldnt have people still using them today.

with the alphabet cams you KNOW what your going to get. i run a b-cam and it works pretty good. is there more power in a different cam or custom? yeah but my car is pretty much a street car and i am not looking for every ounce of power.

not to mention you can grab ABC cams for dirt cheap nowadays
