So I bought this mustang back in 2007 and it had this sunroof installed. At the time, I knew very little about Mustangs and I quickly learned that they did not come from the factory with them installed. I think this may have been an aftermarket dealership option or something. I don't know. Anyways, the problem I am have is that it leaks after very heavy downpours and the glass doesn't seal all of the way down when it is closed. The motor seems to be getting tired and opens/closes very slowly. I have done some research and found that this is a very old (probably from 94/95) discontinued sunroof mfg therefore I cannot find any replacement parts. Now I think that my only option would be to replace it with a newer model one which can be very spendy and the only places that do sunroof installations/repairs around me are about 2 hours away. Has anyone else had any experiences like this? What did you do? Ill post some pictures I just took in my next post. Thank You.

Same thing happened on my brother's mustang. We ended up replacing the whole thing. It's not hard to do yourself as all the cutting and hard work is already done.

That's what I was wondering. Most places have quoted me around 800 to 1000 to replace. Could br less since they haven't looked at it in person. I think the replacement for my old farmont f600 model is around 400 for parts... not sure this would be something I would feel comfortable doing myself.
