What do you think of these alternators?

I think they will all work. I have a 200 amp alt. in my patrol car. Its obvious for all the lights, sirens, computer, and camera equipment. Never a charging problem. IMO it would seem overkill on a non-emergency vehicle unless you had some serious stereo equipment. I don't think it would hurt anything though.

Personally, I think if youre going to buy a "non show" alternator, it's better to get one at Bennett for a little more and have a lifetime warranty. With that said, if you want to get the 200A one, I guess they would be ok.

Nobody knows a single bit of useful information about these? Anybody?

Gotta "tone" it down a bit...You know we'll all eventually chime in.

Kyle, I looked at that guy's store, and he has another 150amp just like yours. The only thing I don't like is it's a 150amp, and it's a reman'ed one. I need a little more amps for my stereo system and underdrive pulleys. I also don't want a previously busted alternator, you know? lol, but I really appreciate the link!

Paul, good to know that with all that electrical equipment, you don't have any problems. :nice:

RC, I'm "toned down" now. :) Got a link to some Bennett alternators?

JR how much was the chrome 200A alt? I want to get a chrome 200A alt, or if there too pricey just a 200A alt I have a stereo with 2 amps (not super big) and underdrive pulleys, with a optima battery and I could use some more current at idle.
