Called Comp cams today told them my specs and what i want to do and this is what they came up with...The guy doing the work said its perfect for my application what do you think?
87 gt, GT40 heads,trick flow track heat intake,1.7 cobra roller rockers,42lb injectors,255lph fuel pump,Paxton SN93 7-8 psi...UPR 4 inch powerpipe.Abaco DBX 95mm maf..

212 int. @ .050
224 exh.@ 0.50
512/512 lift...
114 center line...with a set of cobra 1.7 roller rockers
it will be 544 lift....

How do you think it will sound ? will it have any lope to it?

Looks like it would work alright. Seems kinda similar to an F-303 with a lot less intake duration. Personally I would just go with an F cam. It's an excellent, proven boost cam and $50 cheaper. Pretty much the only letter cam that's worth a damn. It will also have the lopey idle you're looking for.

Here is the cam spec right from comp cams it even says lopey idle...

COMP Cams - Cam Details

I ran that cam in my 87vert with thumper heads and a tmoss ported stock lower, when it was speed density. It isnt real lopey but its not stock either. It makes very good power NA and it loves nitrous.

You wont like the idle if you want it to sound lopey.

I would also +1 the F cam suggestion its a very good cam for the $ and it sounds real nice.

With the F-cam can i use the 1.7 cobra roller rocker?..what is the specs of the F-cam??

I dont think it would be a problem as the lift would be the same....but the only way to know for sure is to clay the ptv to see. You should always check it anyhow. Duration can effect the PTV clearence as well.

The f303 cam has .512 lift with 1.6 rockers. So it would also be .544 lift.

the duration on the f cam is 288 intake @.050 / 226 exh @.050 so it has more duration than the nx264hr...

This link has all the specs on the FMS cams.

I have a friend that says the F cam will not clear with gt40's and the 1.7rr with stock bottom end. I am not convienced but he does have alot of experience building mustangs so he proly is correct. Like I said the only way to know for sure is to clay the PTV
