I'd say go for it, but being that it's been in storage, be absolutely sure you give it an oil change and a new fuel filter PRONTO. Frankie and I are still trying to get the poopie sludge cleaned out of her '86 GT after it's been sitting for 3 years in the prior owner's garage. The fuel positively looked like MUD when we unhooked the first fuel filter!

Oh, and I'd say $2500 would be about right. I mean, it's nice, but market value is different than collector value, and $2750 seems a hair high for that one.

Really!? I figure I can get it for less than the $2750 which was what he had in his first email. But if the car washes up clean you really think even $2750 would be high for a clean car like that? I mean shoot, I'd pay $2750 for a super clean Pinto ya know.

Had an 83 just like it, red with red stripe t-top car, not as nice as that one. It had a 4-speed, that upon investigation was a serious weak link, check into it. Real nice example you found, though!

I've seen newer Foxes go for less than that, and Capris aren't necessarily considered "collector" cars to most folks, so I'd say $2,500 oughtta be the top dollar for it.

I'd still be wary about the fact that it's been stored, but otherwise it looks purty nice.
