I got on the throttle today and got to almost 70 in second gear. When I realized how fast I was going in such a low gear, I quickly shifted. But I did notice that the seemed to be a "cut-off." It was almost as if I got too high in the RPMs and couldn't go anymore. Was that the rev limiter that I was feeling? Also, was is it set at?

Sorry, I didn't take note of my RPMs.

6250 stock i believe. it could have been the rev limiter, or the torque management system, depending on conditions.

The engine takes a dive when it nails the limiter. Like you turned the key off. Same thing when the speed limiter kicks in at somewhere over 140 mph.

Yup, that's exactly what I felt. I usually don't rev that high, but noticed it got pretty close to 70 in 2nd gear...Not bad!
