Ok I got my tmoss lower yesterday and cant wait to install, I have a chilton's guide and I have been looking at that. Im going to get the fel-pro intake gasket set MS93334, the fel-pro gasket adhesive. Im also going to install the mr. gasket thermal intake spacer. I know I also need to swap the fuel injectors and fuel rails. Any advice when doing this part? What about the thermostat? Am I missing any gaskets or anything?

Also I was thinking of putting my stock alternator pulley back on instead of the underdrives, would that defeat the purpose of the underdrives? At first I thought it would be fairly easy but the more I look into it the harder it seems. Thanks.

If you are going to use the spacer you must modify your EGR tube. I apply Permatex High Tack sealer to the HEAD side of my Felpro 1415 gaskets. The INTAKE side of the gaskets need nothing b/c the gaskets have a rubber type coating on that side. I then use RTV sealant for the end seals. I just apply a thick 1/4 to 3/8" bead from head to head along the block. I then use two old intake bolts with the heads cutoff. I screw one into the front side of one head and the back side of the other head. The intake can be slid over the bolts and allow for perfect alignment this way. If you have cast iron heads torque the bolts in sequence to 24ft-lbs or 18ft-lbs with alum heads. Since you are in Miami I would swap in a 180 stat since you have it all apart.

You can swap the stock alt pulley back and gain a little more charging and lose a little power. The super small crank pulley is main player in the underdrive pulley system.
