Where can I pick up this fitting and what is the threading on it? The one that came with my gauge set is too big. So for right now, I have an under hood air temp gauge.

Advance Discount didn't have any fittings like that, just an o/p gauge kit nylon or copper.

Why Would you buy a mech WTG? They are not really any more $$$, like the FP ones are?

I am actually a fan of mechanical gauges (i like the big sweep and cannot afford full sweep electrics). otherwise, the needle width of some electric gauges covers like 20*F. LOL.

(that was my reason for doing it and maybe was 94 Teal's too. ).

I like mechanicals as well. A bigger issue, it's been stated on here many times the electrics are only as good as your electrical system.

Well, my car has been in the shop for an electrical short a few years ago(ABS shorted to external lighting). The car lunches a battery every 3yrs(just up and quits working, no warning, nothing), always has. Then the A/C suffered a "Catastrophic electrical failure", the factory idiot gauges (O/P W/T) show random readings that have nothing to do with actual conditions, I don't put much faith in readings I'd get from electric gauges...

Sooooo mechanicals were a no brainer for me. I'll give the Home Depot a try or maybe Ace Hardware(bigger selection of odd hardware)..
